ABOUT TRAVIS PAYNE



Travis Payne has established his brand as a world-renowned choreographer, director and producer. Beginning his creative journey at 7 years old in Atlanta, his talents took him to Hollywood, where he joined Janet Jackson’s Rhythm Nation 1814 World Tour  in 1990.     After which, Travis started a twenty year professional relationship and friendship with Michael Jackson, as a dancer in 1992's  Remember The Time.


Payne quickly became creative partner and choreographer on Michael Jackson Projects including: Dangerous Tour, History Tour,     GHOSTS,     They Don't Really Care About Us  and  Scream, the most expensive video in history  (GUINNESS).  Travis has amassed a client roster including: Beyoncé,  Usher, Sting,  TLC Madonna Mariah Carey Lenny Kravitz Diana Ross Brandy,   Quincy Jones,  Mick Jagger,   Paula Abdul Ricky Martin Miley Cyrus EnVogue Shanice,   Tamia,  Smokey Robinson,

Patti LaBelle, Gladys Knight, Dionne Warwick,  G. Dragon Tevin Campbell,  Andy Lau,  Jolin Tsai 2NE1  and  Johnny’s.


In 2009, Travis Payne was named Associate Director and Choreographer of   Michael Jackson's This Is It Tour  and served as Associate Producer for  Michael Jackson's This Is It Documentary, which grossed $261.3 million in global revenue during its theatrical run, the highest grossing concert documentary of all time   (GUINNESS).  Travis played an integral part in mounting both   Cirque du Soleil  productions, Immortalizing Michael Jackson,  IMMORTAL and  ON respectively. Payne‘s awards & honors include three  American Choreography Awards, three   MTV Video Music Awards  (the later being Scream) &  MTV Nomination  for   Mya's My Love is Like...Wo Emmy nominations: Michael Jackson’s   MTV Awards Opening  and  Disney's Suite Life of Zack & Cody. He is the youngest inductee into   The Gallery of Greats. In 2018, Travis was honored for his Humanitarian and Arts Education work in the Caribbean, with   GOOD FOR THE ARTS.  In 2019, along with Japanese Beatbox Champion, Sh0h and Tech mogul, Sol Yoosa, Travis Payne co-founded record and media company, Hiras Entertainment. Today, Travis Payne Productions continues to conceive and execute critically and commercially acclaimed live, filmed and branded mixed-media experiences.
